Women who contribute to the annual campaign in their own names are recognized at various levels, each with its own benefits. Through their gifts, the women of Women’s Philanthropy observe our rich Judaic tradition of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tzedakah. Together, we practice kol Yisrael arevim zeh l’zeh (all Jews are responsible for each other) and for the world in which we live.
Women celebrate their commitment to philanthropy and our community by making a $180+ gift.
Pomegranates are symbolic with their 613 seeds, one for each of the mitzvot or commandments in the Torah. Pomegranate donors provide strength, compassion and inspiration for our community through their annual gifts of $1,800+.
The Lion of Judah symbolizes the strength of Jewish women. It is also an international giving society of women donors making annual gifts of $5,000+ that is 17,000-strong. Women at this level are invited to attend the International Lion of Judah Conference.
